The Flat Creek Inn sits on East Broadway, directly across the street from the National Elk Refuge. This camera points straight out into the refuge, giving you a front-row seat to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles in North America.

In the winter this is one of the most popular feeds in Jackson. I check it to see the massive herds of elk that descend on the valley floor to feed from November through April. Up to 11,000 elk winter on the refuge, and on a clear morning you can see hundreds of them moving across the snow from this camera. If you are planning to book a sleigh ride through the refuge, this camera shows you exactly where the herds are gathered. In the summer the elk move to higher ground, but the feed remains a great way to check the weather and visibility looking north toward Grand Teton National Park.
