Grand Targhee Plaza Webcam

The Grand Targhee Plaza is the central hub of the resort, sitting at a base elevation of 7,851 feet in Alta, Wyoming. This camera gives you a direct look at the main gathering area, the ski lifts, and the current weather at the base of Fred's Mountain.

Because Targhee is famous for its massive annual snowfall, this is the feed powder hounds check first. In the winter I look at this camera to gauge the lift lines and see exactly how deep the fresh snow is at the base before making the drive over Teton Pass. In the summer it shows you the activity levels for mountain biking and hiking, and lets you check if the high-elevation weather is clear before you load the bikes.

Local tip: Grand Targhee is only 42 miles from Jackson but it feels like a different world. The resort is smaller, the lines are shorter, and the snow is deeper. If JHMR is crowded and tracked out, check this camera. Targhee might be having the better day.
