The Rustic Inn is a luxury cabin resort sitting on 12 private acres right along Flat Creek, just four blocks from Town Square. This camera looks out over the creek and the resort grounds, with the National Elk Refuge just across the road to the north.
Because the property backs up to the creek and is only a mile from the National Elk Refuge, this is one of the best cameras in town for spotting wildlife. Locals and visitors check this feed to see if the resident moose are wandering through the willows along the water. It is also a great way to check the weather just north of the downtown core. In the winter the snow-covered cabins and frozen creek look like a postcard, and in the summer you can see the lush wetland habitat come alive.
Local tip: Flat Creek runs right through the Rustic Inn property and is one of the few spring-fed streams in the valley that stays open year-round. Moose are frequently spotted along the creek in the early morning and evening. Check this camera at dawn for the best wildlife viewing odds.
