JHMR – Tram Station Cam Webcam
The Tram Station camera is mounted at the mid-station of the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram, giving you a view of the loading area and the surrounding terrain partway up the mountain. It is a useful complement to the base tram cam for understanding conditions at different elevations.
The mid-station is where the tram stops to pick up additional passengers on busy days. This camera shows you the snow conditions at that elevation and gives you a sense of what the visibility is like as you climb the mountain. If the base looks clear but the mid-station is in the clouds, you know the summit is going to be a whiteout.
Local tip: The tram mid-station is also accessible by skiing down from the summit. If you see clear conditions here but clouds above, it is a good day to ski the upper mountain in the morning and work your way down as the clouds build in the afternoon.
