Tram View Webcam
This camera is mounted at the historic Alpenhof Lodge, the very first hotel built in Teton Village in 1965, and it offers a direct, unobstructed view of the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram base. The Alpenhof has been watching the tram load and unload for 60 years, and this camera gives you that same front-row seat.
If you are skiing Jackson Hole, this is the most important camera you can check. I look at this feed every morning to see how long the tram line is before I even put my boots on. It shows you exactly what the weather is doing at the base of the mountain and whether Big Red is running on schedule. In the summer it is a great way to check the crowds and the weather before you head up for a scenic tram ride or a hike to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain.
Local tip: The tram holds 100 people and the ride to the summit takes about 12 minutes. On a powder day the line can be 45 minutes long by 8:30 AM. If this camera shows a short line, drop everything and go.
