Alpine Wyoming Webcam

Alpine, Wyoming sits at the confluence of the Snake River and the Greys River, about 35 miles south of Jackson at the southern end of the Snake River Canyon. This camera gives you a live look at the town and the surrounding canyon country.

Alpine is the last town before the canyon opens up into Star Valley, and it is a hub for outdoor recreation in the southern end of Jackson Hole. I check this camera when I am planning a float trip on the Snake River below the canyon or a fishing trip on the Greys River. The weather in Alpine can be very different from Jackson, the canyon creates its own microclimate, and this feed tells you what you are driving into before you head south.

Local tip: Alpine is home to some of the best whitewater kayaking in Wyoming, with Class III and IV rapids in the Snake River Canyon just upstream. If this camera shows clear skies and good conditions, the canyon is worth the drive for paddlers and rafters.
